'Standing Up to Breast Cancer' - the 2006 Gala raised 250,000 euros

The American Women's Club of The Hague is honored to have taken a proactive role in breast cancer research and advocacy over the past three years. The money raised goes directly to help fight breast cancer in The Netherlands.

In conjunction with the Borstkanker Vereniging Nederlands (BVN), a patient organization dedicated to increasing breast cancer awareness and education in the Netherlands, the AWC has been able to make a marked and measurable difference in the awareness, education and treatment of breast cancer in the Netherlands.
