The AWC the Hague is proud to host the 2026 Region 4 FAWCO Conference in the Hague, Netherlands. Our theme is Building a Resilient Future Together, based on Accelerating the Sustainable Development Goals in our club communities. We will explore what resilience means in today’s world—from protecting human rights and advancing gender equality to fostering climate action and building stronger, more connected communities. Beginning with a welcome reception on Friday evening and concluding with opportunities to experience the beauty of The Hague, this meeting invites us all to learn from one another, strengthen our connections, and accelerate progress toward the SDGs—together.

At the Welcome reception on Friday evening, attendees will have the opportunity to connect and network while enjoying drinks and an array of delicious appetizers.
Join us in our spectacular bar, the heart of BlueBlood, where you can savour our extraordinary cocktails and wonderful wines, alongside delicate ‘Nikkei’ bar bites. It’s a vibrant place with an unforgettable ambiance.
Attendance, drinks, and heavy hors d’oeuvres are included with your conference ticket. There is a special rate of €30,00 for AWC The Hague members or partners who wish to join this activity only.

Bringing us together around a shared commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals, speakers from organizations advancing freedom and safety for women, transforming urban environments, restoring ecosystems through innovative solutions, and strengthening communities through education and inclusion will challenge and inspire us to turn ideas into meaningful action.

The conference will conclude with time to reflect, celebrate the connections we’ve made, and an opportunity to enjoy the cultural richness of The Hague.
Discover The Hague like a Local. Step into the elegant heart of the Netherland’s royal city with a walking tour led by someone who truly knows its streets, stories and secrets. The City Tour is included with your conference ticket.

Afterwards, you will enjoy the Museum Panorama Mesdag. This museum is an icon in The Hague, with the Panorama of Scheveningen as its absolute highlight. The museum owes its name to the largest painting in the Netherlands. The panorama is a cylindrical paintingmore than 14 metres high and about 40 metres in diameter (120 metres in circumference). From an observation gallery in the centre of the room the cylindrical perspective creates the illusion that the viewer is on a high sand dune overlooking the sea, beaches and village of Scheveningen in the late 19th century.
Price is not included in the ticket options. Payment is due at the museum entrance (€17.50)

We have identified a selection of affordable hotels within walking distance to our Clubhouse. Attendees are responsible for booking their own room, but we will be happy to assist in pairing you with a roommate if you would like to share a room.
