Mission Statement
The American Women’s Club of The Hague (“AWC The Hague”) is a non-profit association formed to provide social and educational activities for American and English-speaking women living in and around The Hague. Our mission and purpose is to promote amicable relations among people of all nations, and to raise funds for general public interest. Membership in the club is open to women of all nations. Any excess funds derived from philanthropic fundraising efforts that arenot required for club operations are donated as part of our philanthropy. AWC The Hague is a 100% volunteer organization. The board members receive no reward for their work as directors.

AWC General Proxy Ballot [Download pdf]

Voting may take place by proxy, but a single member may not represent more than one other member. If you are unable to attend the General Meeting where a vote will take place, then please be sure to vote using the General Proxy Ballot. When completing the proxy ballot, you may leave the name of the proxy holder blank. The signed proxy ballot can be photographed or scanned and then emailed to parliamentarian@awcthehague.org.

Based on our Bylaws, the vote will be considered legal only if there is a quorum of at least 15% of the membership voting, so be sure to vote by proxy ballot if you cannot make the General Meeting. Our Parliamentarian, will oversee the election.
